Graphic Design: Wild Wild Live Stuff

Hey All -

Hopefully by now you've heard that I've got a new, kickass radio show WESU and a corresponding blog to boot. But in case you haven't...it's called WILD WILD LIVE it airs every other TUESDAY NIGHT from 7:30 to 9 on WESU Middletown, 88.1fm or streaming online at wesufm.org.

Last night, I went a little crazy with the screen capture and the photoshop. These are (some) of the results:

Photos from All Tomorrow's Parties New York 2009: Part 4

We've got a few more days of All Tomorrow's parties photos left. Here are some more.

Shellac - it should be noted that Steve Albini was wearing a garish Hawaiian shirt for the entire weekend excepting this performance. It should also be noted that his waist guitar strap thing isn't doing anybody any favors.

This is a photo of "Oneida Presents the Ocropolis." They basically set up their recording studio in one of the bars in the resort and had all these really psychedelic projections blasting onto various layers of hanging curtains. They invited a bunch of musicians from the weekend's impressive roster to jam with them. That's Dana from Akron/Family in the back there.

Melvins.

Black Dice, who were very strange to see in the middle of the afternoon. I danced a weird little dance.

New Radio Show: Wild Wild Live

Simply writing to let it be known that my new radio show Wild Wild Live debuts tonight on WESU Middletown at 7:30. You can read all about the new show on the program's blog.

Here's our fancy banner:

As a side note, many have bemoaned the death of RADIO_IN_FURS, and I, too, am sad. But this new show has a lot of potential and I am hoping that it will involve many more people that RIF ever could have. And, besides, perhaps the imperious will return someday...
